Graziano Billet Shifter
Graziano Billet Shifter
Superlite is pleased to announce general availability of their new in-house designed and CNC-machined billet shifter for Graziano transaxle cars. Many builders have expressed a preference for the OEM Audi R8 shifter (compared to the standard Cableshift unit), because of its improved feel and appearance, but these are increasingly difficult to find, and will only become harder to source in time. The OEM shifters are also physically large, which makes installation more complex, and often requires modifications to the car. And of course, the Audi OEM shifters are expensive (and used), even when you can find them.
The new Superlite shifter for the Graziano gearbox is more compact, has an improved shift gate, uses the same geometry as the OEM shifter, and dramatically improves shift feel and accuracy compared to the previous shifter.
The billet shifter is spring-loaded so it always returns to the correct position when shifting.
Now with reverse lockout! Not shown in the pictures, but a standard part of the shifter is now a reverse lockout. To shift into reverse, just lift the lockout up and move the shift lever to the reverse position. It’s spring-loaded, so when you shift out of reverse, it pops back into place and prevents you from accidentally shifting into reverse.
Please allow at least two weeks for production of your new shifter, as these are very machine intensive to produce.
Note that the shift knob shown is for testing purposes only; the shifter comes without a knob so you can personalize it.
These are standalone prices- if you purchase the billet shifter as an upgrade to a new car, there is a discounted price.
