Premium Engineering; Amazing Ride!

Jan 21, 2012 by "Viper" Justin

SL-Razor by Superlite Cars

Im 6-5 and 240 lbs. I fit in the car very well. The Razor body is just 2in under my shoulder. I have the adjustable pedal set and with it, someone around 5-8 could drive MY car. Handling is very tight and pretty predictable at speeds up to 120. Running the car at top speed can make it super twitchy and light in the front. I would recommend a front splitter for ANY exocar that has a mid/rear engine layout. I also have the 3in wind deflector on my Razor and it blocks the wind up to my forehead or so. A friend said that he did not have any buffeting at hiway speeds, and he is about 6-1 or so. Without the windscreen, wind hits me in the chin (and higher) and my friend in the fore head area.

In reality, this car can be built for under $30k for a good runner and $35k for a 400+ hp beast.

Wheelbase: 96 in -- Width: 73 in (measured at widest point; rear wheels)-- Height: 42 in-- Ground clearance: 4 in (lowest point; lowered floor pan) -- Total length: 132 in (w/ Razor body) -- Weight: 1500 (GM LNF/7 gallons of gas) -- Weight distribution: 61/39 rear to front

Dream car come true

Oct 17, 2011 by Dave

Have always wanted as true a racecar on the street as possible and the SL-C comes closer than anything else. The quality of the chassis and parts supplied are unrivaled by the competition. I seriously considered one of two other cars of this type out there, but after seeing and researching them further, there was only one logical choice, the SL-C. If you see an SL-C in person, be ready to write a check or rue the day the opportunity slipped away.

RCR Shop Tour

Oct 15, 2011 by Scott Minch

Have drove past Fran's shop for years and finally had the time and stop by and get a tour. I'm thouroughly impressed with their workmanship and capability. The cars are a piece of art! The machine work looks like jewelry when it's finished. If they can't find a part, they make it! The term "kit car" does not apply to RCR's vehicles!
Keep up the great work Fran!

Long time customer

I bought the second car that Fran had produced (lolaT70) and now I have a second car on order. I watched the SL-C take the NASA championship and really can't wait to start my SL-C

FANTASTIC!

Had my SL-C for a couple of years, my life gets in the way of completion. The chassis is jewelry and the fiberglass is fantastic. Great fit and finish too. No issues. RCR/Fran Hall has been a great guy to work with, very supportive and he WILL answer your questions. Thanks you RCR for a super car!
